Being a beautiful full bodied woman, I found it hard to meet men. I am lonely and want to have a partner to adore and someone who will share lifes ups and downs with me.

I saw an advert for the local community hall, they were holding a candle light speed dating night in a weeks time. I persuaded a friend to come alomg for a laugh although inside I was hoping to meet the man of my dreams.

On the day of the event my friend come round so we could get ready together and share a bottle of wine for some dutch courage. I had bought a new dress and had my hair done and she realised I was serious about it. She helped to do my make up and when I was ready she couldn't believe how beautiful I looked.

The candle light looked amazing and so romantic even if you did only have five minutes with each person, its enough time to get a first reaction. You either like them or you don't. You each had a number and at the end of the night you wrote down each number you would like to meet again. They had arranged for one lucky couple to have a romantic candle light dinner down by the river later on that evening.

Wow, it was busy, I didn't think that many people would turn up. The night started with the usual drunken idiots saying 'oh, i adore you, lets get it on' as if!!! Then, a gentleman sat down and I couldn't believe how beautiful he was, its not a word I would normally use to describe a man but he was. We had a quick chat before it was time to move on to the next, but I couldn;t stop thinking about him.

At the end of the night, I wrote down his number and his number only, I was inftuated and waited. Guess what, he wrote mine down too! We didn't get the romantic dinner but arranged to meet the next night.

He turned up looking sexy in an open neck shirt and we went out for dinner. The night went really well and Iwas in love! A night that I thought was a bit of a laugh, but deep down hoped something would happen and I ended up with this man that I adore and he feels the same about me.
